Winston Churchill said, “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” More than 59 million voters accepted socialism on Election Day. RIP, democracy.

See how the constant barrage of pro-corporate propaganda causes brain damage? The President is centrist and moderate, a long way from the cliched and out-dated "socialism" definition that has been spoon-fed to Mr. Rooney. Fortunately he and his ilk are becoming obsolete, as the Republicans are forced to the center and moderation. Enjoy your little tea party and your cup of bitter tea while you can, Mr. Rooney.
you couldn't say it any better. Socialists love to spend other peoples money and what will happen when they have no more money....riot like Greece is doing. And what do they elect another trust fund Kennedy III, clueless and will be right up there spending money we do not have. An a fraud that wants to tax the business person that spent years building their business as you owe us, from a person that makes $350 thousand a year to teach ONE course twice aweek...Are we that stupid.....YES.
It's pretty apparent that you don't know the definition of socialism, so you simply use it as an epithet for anything you don't like. Buy a dictionary, or type "define:socialism" into your browser. That's not too much trouble, is it? You'll learn something. Or maybe you'd rather remain ignorant.
I'm not sure you would know socialism if it hit you in the face. Look it up. Meanwhile here's another Churchill quote:
A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.
Winston Churchill
And those of you who won't change your mind about socialism vs democracy and dwell on the subject incessantly, fit Churchill's quote to a "T." For Crying Out Loud! The election is over! Enough already! Let's get on with the future!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Using "socialist" to describe Obama is nothing but coded racism.
Limited socialism can be useful. Social Security is limited socialism and there's nothing inherently wrong with it in my opinion. All "isms" should be judged on their own merits when applied to a specific situation. Capitalism, for instance, can't be the whole answer because without extensive regulation it can be horribly oppressive to vast numbers of people. Tell me how socialism destroys democracy. They're not related.
The best society is one that lays aside dogma and adherence to a single idea. Instead it should weigh many ideas and try to choose the best ones.
As for Winston Churchill, he was no god. He was out of step with the British people most of his life. He had a very brief time during the war when Britain needed him. That doesn't make everything he said important or correct.
I'm glad and plan on milking it for everything I can get out it, already transfered some assets..................
