REGARDING Your article “Bishops adopt a mandate” (Metro, Nov. 13), concerning the efforts of the Archdiocese of Boston to defeat ballot Question 2: I’m 83, and in only fair health, which will continue to decline seriously because of several conditions.

Just as I don’t want our government in my bedroom, I don’t want the dictates of someone else’s church in my sickroom.
