Time for the GOP to put country above party

Now that President Obama has been reelected, denying Senator Mitch McConnell and his Republican colleagues their stated goal of making him a one-term president, perhaps Republicans will put country above party to help solve this nation’s problems.

They need to consider targeted spending cuts along with graduated tax increases, particularly on those who can most afford it. Perhaps Republicans will now realize that the only pledge they should be making is to the United States of America, not to unelected lobbyists such as Grover Norquist.

Time for DEMOCRATS to put Country above party and stop interfering with the Benghazi, Libya investigation which killed 4 Americans and sends a mesage to terrorists everywhere that America is weak. They have now put Israel at risk. And time for Democrats like Dianne Feinstein to do her job on the Senate Intelligence committee and Johm Kerry to do his job on the Senate Foreign Relations committee. And the writer should NOT assume that Barack Obama has been legitimately reelected, as benghazi had a major effect on the election.

Well, at least there are crybabies occupying both extremes. There do seem to be more on the 'losing' side, but that's to be expected.
