If the Boston Public Schools want to show that they are serious about meeting the new Department of Education standards for family and community engagement, they will respond to Anna Ross’s Nov. 28 op-ed “Putting a face on school reassignments” by allowing siblings to attend schools together.
It meant the world to me as a parent, room parent, and room parent coordinator for 13 years at the Agassiz (now Baldwin) School in Cambridge to have all three of my sons attend the same school. It was in fact the school my father attended more than half a century before.
