Brian McGrory’s column “Warren’s private agony” (Metro, Nov. 30), about the death of Elizabeth Warren’s dog, Otis, five days before the election, offered a heartfelt, sweet reminder about the things that bind us together.
While our news is often dominated by the impersonal strains of political division and worldwide conflict, McGrory offered a glimpse into the private joys and heartbreak common to all of us. Such moments remind us of all the things we share as human beings.
