Romney could take cue from Jerry Brown

RE “Romney for mayor of Boston” (Op-ed, Dec. 4): You don’t need to go far to find somebody who did exactly what Joanna Weiss suggests — just the West Coast should do. Jerry Brown was governor of California, ran for president in Democratic primaries, dropped out, came back as mayor of Oakland, and back to governor of California.

I think she intended her column as tongue-in-cheek, but a Romney revival could become real.
