RE “Extend the rights of victims” by Renée Loth (Op-ed, Dec. 8), about the federal Violence Against Women Act: Domestic violence knows no boundaries. It cuts across all ethnic, cultural, age, gender, cultural, and national boundaries.

It is high time the law does the same.
