Adam Lanza’s mother was a victim, too

IN REFERENCE to nearly every news report and newspaper article about the Newtown massacre, I want to remind everyone that there were more than 26 people killed. I understand why the shooter Adam Lanza’s suicide is rarely mentioned, but his mother was the first person he killed.

As a mother myself, I am amazed that her death is rarely mentioned. Their family will be grieving the death of two family members, and bearing the weight of what Lanza did.

Adam's mother was NOT a responsible gun owner, she knew her son was unstable, yet he somehow had access to her guns.

She introduced her mentally disabled son to mass killing weapons and made them easily available to him..

I do not weep for her.. She might as well have pulled the trigger herself.

What you do not say is that Adam's mother was herself in some way deranged: She had, for heaven's sake, an assaut weapon in her home and "somehow" her so, gee, golly, got ahold of that weapon.

I am so sorry Ms. Lanza was killed by her son, but you mention nothing about her role in her son's behavior!!  Why not?  Please explain!

Seriously? She's more guilty than he is. No tears here.
