JEFF JACOBY’S assertion that conservative principles are three — limited government, economic liberty, and color-blind equality — is the height of hypocrisy (“Party of minority civil rights? GOP”, Op-ed, Dec. 23).

I spent much of my youth watching these conservatives prevent blacks from voting, prevent unions from forming so management could have its way, cut poverty budgets, grossly misinterpret the Second Amendment, and on and on.
