Cartoon ripping GOP presents an incomplete picture

After looking at the Jan. 3 Dan Wasserman cartoon, in which Uncle Sam is tied to the railroad tracks by a pair of Republican elephants, I wondered how many other readers concluded that it was unfinished. The artist could have quipped about members of Congress from both parties riding the train in first class. Perhaps he might have drawn a string of freight cars laden with products manufactured overseas? Even better: How about depicting an overflow of passengers who had never paid for their ticket?

"Unfinished, unfair, factually inaccurate", and totally in line with this newspaper's mantra.

The great majority of Dan Wasserman's cartoons are unfinished, unfair, inaccurate. And all anti- GOP. One that I remember (and don't expect Dan to reprint it) is one he published during the "Arab Spring" in 2011. It shows the Democratic Party Donkey explaining to the GOP Elephant that the "Arab Spring" was a huge SUCCESS for Barack Obama...With Mohammed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood in power in Egypt and with Benghazi, Libya embassy attack having occurred, and the Obama and Clinton coverup afterwards..Dan, do you STILL think that the "Arab Spring" was a HUGE SUCCESS for Obama and the Donkey?
