In their Dec. 31 letter “Scrutiny of gun stocks just a start” Paul and Carol Rae Bradford wonder what percentage of Massachusetts pension funds are invested in Israel. I certainly hope that the funds are invested in the numerous small companies in Israel that are leading innovators in conservation, alternate energy, agriculture, and communications.
In particular, these companies have developed advances in biomedical technology, such as the PillCam diagnostic device, a dental laser, painless drug delivery systems, and new therapies for spinal cord injuries.
