In her Jan. 14 op-ed “A generation gap at City Hall,” Jennifer Graham forgets one thing: “Calcified” mayors are elected by their constituents.
Using Thomas Menino as an example of a “fossilized” mayor flies in the face of Boston’s growth as a city. People, young and old, desire to live here. Tax revenues are up. Menino has encouraged programs to get Bostonians to move — on foot and on bike paths.
