A more squirrel-like approach is called for

Monday was National Squirrel Appreciation Day as well as the presidential inauguration. I wonder whether the president thought about that as he was being given the oath of office.

Think of what he could learn from squirrels. Squirrels know that in times of plenty, they need to think ahead. They build up a surplus in the form of fat. They store their nuts and seeds for a time when food sources are lean. And when that time comes, they eat in moderation, for they can’t eat more than they find and collect.
