Riders ‘happier’ now, but would be elated if only . . .

It may be that, as your headline put it, some “T riders prove happier” if they know the time of their train’s arrival (Page A1, Jan. 23). As a 30-year rider of the Green Line, I would like to propose several other modest ideas that would make a lot of sense for most T riders, particularly those who take public transit during rush hour:

1. Open all the doors to let passengers in and out efficiently.
