I am a homeowner and taxpayer. I am not entitled to a comfortable pension with benefits, such as that provided to civil service workers. I will pay for my own benefits. I am simply someone who works hard to provide for my family and to save for a secure retirement.
As such, I am offended by Governor Patrick’s proposal to raise the income tax. The governor claims to understand what the average taxpayer is experiencing. But he is naive, at best, given his half-hearted efforts to reform resource-draining spending. Whether in a bad or booming economy, the taxpayer is crushed by taxes and fees that continue to minimize our quality of life and our ability to save for retirement.

According to liberals edward, we all have to pay our fair share, hang on, we have yet to hear from the federal government, they will be coming for more.
Including their beloved "Carbon Tax. If Obama can't get the House to pass it, he will get the EPA to put it in. By Executive FIAT...Elizabeth Warren keeps saying "The Middle Class is getting HAMMERED". (But it's perfecgtly fine if the Hammering is done by her side).
WHY do we keep electing the same-old, same-old????????????? .....and they keep exempting themselves from much of what they vote for us...
And Deval and the Globe haven't told us the REAL reason for Deval's proposed tax hikes. Somebody let the WSJ know what was going on. Yesterday's WSJ's editorial "The RomneyCare Bill Comes Due" shows that Deval last August put in the state budget "health-care spending has crowded out key public investments". ..In other words, the new tax hikes are NOT for new transportation and education funding. They are to pay for the cost overruns of the MA health care for all law. Both Deval and the Globe LIED when explaining the reason for the new tax hikes.
no one is surprised that he lied...he was speaking...
