We want answers, not dismissal of important issues

Leave it to Dan Wasserman to give us snide dismissal of important issues in his Jan. 24 editorial cartoon about Hillary Clinton’s appearance before members of Congress. An ambassador and three others are murdered, and all we hear from this White House is distraction, denial, and delay.

If wanting answers to what happened and why makes one a “Benghazi blowhard” in Wasserman’s view, then count me in. Yes, Madame Secretary, it does make a difference.

I'm amazed that there are so many people in and out of government who believe it is their responsibility to monitor and raise complaints over State department functions.  The same people supporting hundreds of american deaths a year in Afghanistan are shocked at four deaths in another near-war zone.  Do they just seem as incongruous, whining, and self-serving to anyone else?

a little different between a soldier and an ambassador

What an abhorrent and condescending observation salemreader.

The attempted Republican/Fox News inquisition of Hillary Clinton was strictly political theater and nothing else.  They were trying to disgrace her now in order to set her up to fail in 2016.  To believe otherwise is either a show of (extreme) partisan loyalty or just being plain gullible.  Anyone living in the upper-income, Republican town of Dover I'm confident is the former.

Political theater? What do you call Obama in the 2nd debate stating he called the attack a terrorist attack on Sept 12th, in the Rose Garden?  If he really felt that way, why did he send Rice out with that absurd story of a spontaneous demonstration over a movie? She lied, he lied in the debate. Political theater at it's most disgraceful.

Obama called it a random act of terrorism.  Information was evolving at the time.  Fox News called (speculated) it an organized terrorist attack. Information continued to evolve.   Clinton said, "what difference does it make?"

Clinton lied, again. Amb Rice lied also, multiple times, on multiple channels. If she didnt know , then say so or dont go on national tv claiming otherwise. Yes it does make a difference to some of us what the truth is. Why does every sect of state have to be a phoney. Clintons predessor Condi Rice was also wrong many times and gave false info. There were no mass weapons. As for our new sect, Kerry. He won multiple purple hearts in vietnam, over a long weekend!
