Not long life, but lust for life

Pessimists may live longer, as Jennifer Graham cites in her March 25 op-ed “The power of pessimism,” but what is the quality of their lives?

I do not intend to make a judgment about anyone who wants to live as long as possible, but I for one would rather live with joy and optimism even if it means a shorter life.
