RE “YOU’VE got mail. Do you care?” (Page A1, March 30): When e-mail was embraced over traditional, century-old mail delivery, the reasons were obvious: speed, convenience, no paper, and fewer expenses. Yet even while the imprint of the first embrace is fresh and warm, there are those who wish to turn their back on this method of communication, indeed to send it to its final destination while it is still in relative infancy.
The tireless vanguard, characteristically, is forging ahead with new ideas. But why? Because of the exhausting chore of clicking a button to delete virtual junk-mail from the inbox?
