Letters | THE REAL LEVEL OF DEMAND FOR CHARTER SCHOOLS

Parents seek many options. So what?

SO, THE Globe has uncovered that parents apply to more than one charter school (“Charter school demand in Mass. disputed,” Page A1, April 8).

So what? I applied my child to three charter schools — and still couldn’t get into one.

We need more options in Boston. Now that Boston has reached its limit, there is little chance my child will get in. That leaves me with three options: move, pay for private school, or stay in a local district school.

I will continue to apply to multiple schools — and continue to hope.
