Reeling from bomb blasts, city was right to take precaution

I must comment on the April 25 letter to the editor from John Michael O’Connor (“Did entire city of Boston have to shut down?”).

I cannot believe someone would think that too much precaution is a bad thing.

The search for bombing suspects was centered in Watertown, but no one could be sure where suspects were located.

How dare O’Connor send such negative thoughts from San Jose?
