letters | a body in limbo

This is how we show spirit of ‘Boston Strong’?

In response to Tuesday’s front-page article “Family urged to settle on burial,” and in response to the protests and denials issued by the City of Cambridge and private cemeteries regarding the burial of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s body, I am surprised by how thin our collective claims of “Boston Strong” were.

This fear and ugliness reeks of weakness and insecurity. We are a free people, proud of our independence and freedom, and a dead body has no power over us. Let’s start acting that way.
