Logan fire plan won wide support

WHAT THE column “Boston firefighters’ airport hot point” (Op-ed, June 15) failed to mention is that the priority system for mutual aid response to incidents at Boston Logan had the full support of the fire chiefs of MetroFire, an association of 36 metropolitan Boston fire departments. The men and women of Massport Fire-Rescue are recognized internationally as leaders in airport safety and airports from around the world visit and train here every year.
