A gentler answer to depravity

The most effective way to protect the civilian population of Syria from the depravity of both sides in its civil war would be to air-drop adequate quantities of gas masks and atropine to them. This would render Bashar Assad’s chemical weapons ineffective without forcing us to take sides or causing injury to anyone.
