A simple solution for sake of slumbers

In response to Jennifer Graham’s column “Let there be night” (Op-ed, Sept. 9), in which she writes that outdoor lighting is interrupting our sleep, I have a suggestion: Get room-darkening drapes. They’re cheap, and they work.

This will not do much for the plight of birds and bats, but it is a good start for humans.
