Politically correct — and all wrong

My reaction to reading that Concord-Carlisle High School omitted the Pledge of Allegiance and substituted a Muslim poem on the anniversary of Sept. 11 (Metro, Sept. 13) was, “WHAT?!”

The wrong-headed thinking of leaders in our public schools, who attempt political correctness and diversity at all costs, is why parents are choosing to home school.

I am appalled.
