Transgender males don’t belong at women’s colleges

I am writing to comment on the issue of transgender males desiring to attend women’s colleges (“Simmons welcomes transgender students,” Page A1, Nov. 7).

Please tell me what I am missing here.

I am fully supportive of a woman’s right to decide she wants to become male.

But don’t then say you expect the right to attend a women’s college — as a man. That is ridiculous.

A women’s college is for women. A transgender male is a man.

My message to this group is simple: Abide by the same rules as everyone else. You are not deserving of special treatment.
