The trial and execution of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti in Massachusetts in the 1920’s caused much tension within the US and around the world. After a very controversial trial that many people believed the verdict was due to prejudice and paranoia, Sacco and Vanzetti were executed on August 23, 1927.
