Dec. 20, 1964: Players and officials checked the field, which was being cleared of snow before the game at Fenway Park. The game against the Buffalo Bills was delayed 35 minutes. The Bills beat the Patriots 24-14 and denied the 38,021 fans the chance to see the Boston Patriots win the championship of the American Football League's Eastern division.
