It’s been popular to question the Patriots. But maybe it’s time to start thinking they are the best team in the NFL. The 45-10 win was pretty darned impressive.

How many Dan Shaughnessy's are writing this column? What happened to the 'Patriot's are a mirage' Dan? Or was that a mirage itself???
Hyperbole is so much fun (-:
The Pats gave us an excellent showing last night. They should be proud. Fans should be very pleased and optimistic. That said, we can anoint the Patriots the best team in football when they win the Superbowl. Not before.
Dan said, "the Patriots may be the best in the NFL", at this juncture of the season, after their showing on Saturday. Notice he didn't say,'still the best in the NFL' or 'now the best in the NFL'. Anyway, weren't the Packers the best in the NFL according to their record, a short time ago? Boy did they look unprepared for their match with the Giants. In spite of their misery on the field, Aaron Rogers maintained a calm demeanor and stuck by his team mates. I think Rogers can become another Tom Brady, in terms of on-the-field success.
