Why don't the Sox attempt to sign JD Drew to a one year deal for small money. He'd probably agree in the hopes of improving his tarnished image in Boston. He's an excellent outfielder and may blossom under new management. I think he needs a manager who will tell him to swing away and stop taking so many pitches. I think he's an underrated ball player. This guy really doesn't want to play baseball.

Resign JD Drew for one year. Best option available.
