The question before the game was this: Was Princeton, a team that had beaten Harvard in seven of the last eight meetings, including a one-game playoff last season for the Ivy League crown and automatic NCAA bid, in the minds of Harvard enough to distract the Crimson from the task at hand last night at Lavietes Pavilion?
