An $82 Million whiner
"He doth protest to much"
Two things here: 1. CHB actually wrote a good column! B. If it's true Lackey supports his teammates and they support him, then I'm willing to give him another chance. Everybody has years in their life that suck. (Don't ask me about 1990). I hope he comes back and wins 17-18 games next year.
"What will it be like being on the sideline for the entire season?" Better for the fans.
Lackey was doing well with the interview until Shaughnessy baited him with the Chickengate. This is Boston where baseball is akin to politics. He has to learn to sidestep the nonsense and give the media machine nothing. This city is not easy to navigate
