The worst signing in Boston sports history.

Theo's last indignity. If he had been GM of the Pirates or the Royals, few would have ever heard of him. The trio gave him obscene amounts of money to make multiple disastrous signings. Arguably, none exceeds the acquisition of Carl Crawford--a needless, outrageously expensive addition to a team that needs and could have afforded quality pitching.

IMHO, the worst signing in Boston sports history was Mister Matsuzaka.

At least you acknowledge a humble opinion. In the final analysis, Daisuke will be notably more valuable at a substantially lower (but still obscene) price. Theo's legacy of stupid signings will linger for years--World Series victories nothwithstanding.
