For Patriots cheerleaders, boot camp is rough

Team wants discipline, not just ‘smart’ and ‘pretty’ hopefuls

The Patriots are looking for a few good women. Last January, 327 hopefuls applied for the position of 2012 New England Patriots cheerleader. After a workshop, and several preliminary auditions, the last 43 survivors report for Patriots Cheerleaders Boot Camp. Only the top 25 will make the grade.
