Loyola of Maryland will play in the title game on Monday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Eric Lusby matched his career-high with five goals and top-seeded Loyola of Maryland beat Notre Dame 7-5 on Saturday to advance to the NCAA lacrosse championship game.

Jack Runkel made 11 of his career-high 15 saves in the second half, and the Greyhounds (17-1) held on despite failing to score in the final 26:41.

Notre Dame finished 13-3.

The Irish ended a scoring drought of 24:46 with goals in a 50-second span to pull to 7-5 with 6:28 left. Sean Rogers had the first goal, and Westy Hopkins added his second of the game.

Lusby scored three goals in the first half to help Loyola take a 5-3 lead, then added two more quick goals early in the second half. Lusby put Loyola up 6-3 26 seconds into the third quarter, and made it 7-3 with 11:40 left in the period.
