Adrian Gonzalez setting new example for Red Sox

Willingness to move positions helping Sox offense

A technician at the plate or at his customary position at first base, Adrian Gonzalez always has put in the time and the work to hone his craft.

He has studied religiously video of opposing pitchers and taken grounders at first as part of his routine.

Have to say that while he wasn't the fiery leader the Sox needed in September, he does deserve credit for making this switch without a fuss, which is not the norm in this day and age. He's also a class act off the field, which he probably doesn't get enough credit for. The closest thing this team has to Tim Wakefield now.
