Bruins goalie Tim Thomas has posted a message on his Facebook page about his plans for the next year that confirms reports last week he was planning to take next season off.
Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli said last week that Thomas expressed that possibility to the team through his agent.

You make commitments and you should keep them. TT is full of it. He brought this all on himself by being selfish and not supporting his team and going to the White House. These guys get almost 5 months off as it is. Would be nice to go to my employer and ask for a year off - yea right. This is another selfish move by TT hiding behind the "family" ploy. Don't let the door hit your selfish butt on the way out.
Poor ole Tim needs time to build an underground bunker next to Glenn Beck.
Even though he is from MA I hope he leaves MA and never comes back.
