Patriots camp stirs Super Bowl hopes

The Super Bowl this season returns to New Orleans for the first time since Hurricane Katrina. It’s the first Roman Numeral Game in the Superdome since the upstart Patriots ran onto the field as one and defeated the Greatest Show on Turf on Feb. 3, 2002.

I take this as a good omen.

If they get by the "Great Grudge Game" (by Ravens standards) in Baltimore, they certainly have a shot at it.

Whatever they are putting in your Mai Tais at wherever you are drinking since the Golden Star closed down...tell me so I can drink there as well!

Go Dan! For once I agree with something you wrote.

Thanks, Shag for showing some class in ackowlegding the all-time great, Gino Capelletti without giving him, as one person did, a backhanded slap on the day of his retitement. It's unfortunate that we are subjected to so much mediocrity today, commnenting on the splendid careers of truley wonderfull people like Gino. Thanks again, Shag.

Does anyone want to start a pool for the date Dan starts trashing the Patriots?

He had a half dozen digs in this one. He is such a snot as a writer

20 plus guys get the nudge to take the buyout or else in the newsroom and the CHB gets paid the big bucks to write this drivel. Geez, Danny boy, didn't you make enough from "The Curse of the Bambino" to retire?
