Every Sunday, Boston Globe photographer Stan Grossfeld asks the subject of one of his photos to explain what's happening in the shot.

Who’s up today: Garrett Greco, 9, of Pittsburgh, before the Pirates-Marlins game at PNC Park on July 22, 2012.

Greco: “That’s Heath Bell, he was an All-Star last year with the San Diego Padres. I saw him on TV, he has a nice swimming pool at his house. He asked me if I wanted to play catch. I wasn’t scared. I play baseball. It was fun. It was really cool. Playing catch was better than getting a ball. I never thought I’d ever get to play catch with an MLB player. I said, ‘Thank you for playing catch.’ I feel awesome.’’
