Players didn’t seek to oust manager, John Henry says

Red Sox owner John Henry said Wednesday that players did not seek to oust manager Bobby Valentine during a meeting with him, team chairman Tom Werner, and CEO Larry Lucchino in a meeting in New York late last month were incorrect.

Henry also reiterated his support for Valentine as he responded to rumors of mutiny in his clubhouse that first emerged in a Yahoo Sports story a day earlier.

Am I allowed to say "what Bull---!" Shame on the players and shame on ownership. It's incredible how what was perceived as the role model for MLB is now being outed as a fraud. The fans should feel used and manipulated.I'm no longer going to support the Red Sox. I'll spend my money on a class organization like the New England Patriots whose ownership truly cares about the fans.Do you think the Coach or Ownership would allow that melodrama on their team? Matter of fact, I doubt any professional sports team would allow that childlike behavior.Good riddance.

The players are big whiney babies. They want millions and they want to underperform & blame the boss. I don't blame Bobby V. one bit. I'm disgusted by the players.
