Your all-too-frequent, sarcastic, snide, and dismissive comments about Liverpool Football Club simply serve to display your arrogance, lack of understanding and narrow-mindedness, when it comes to football, in general, and LFC, in particular. As I have pointed out to you, previously, if your "beloved" Red Sox won the next ten World Series, in succession, they would still be light years away from even coming CLOSE to matching the accomplishments of LFC, who GENUINELY have a world-wide following and fan base. If there is a "Red Sox Nation", there is just as assuredly, a "Liverpool Football Club Planet", by comparison. Don't look, now, but you are among the overwhelming minority of people on planet Earth who don't like football and can't appreciate the skill displayed by practitioners of the game. You virtually NEVER see an overweight, bloated, out-of-shape, overpaid, nonchalant, indifferent, self-absorbed egotist playing for an English Premier League team, such as inhabit many of the rosters in Major League Baseball. Professional footballers are among the best conditioned athletes on the planet. You can't exactly say that about many of the Red Sox players, can you? "Ouch! I've got a hang nail. If anybody's looking for me, I'll be on the fifteen-day DL." So, the next time you feel compelled to throw a few of your none-too-clever barbs at Liverpool FC, try to remember that it's not their fault (nor that of John Henry and FSG) that your Red Sox (..."faux athletes", if ever I've seen any...)have let you down...again!
