SEATTLE — It started out as little comments borne out of the frustration. In some cases, Bobby Valentine was joking. But it was clear that a man who bounced around spring training with remarkable energy and enthusiasm had been beaten down.
On Wednesday, the Red Sox manager’s emotions boiled over, and what has been a season to remember for all the wrong reasons took another strange twist.

Who wouldn't want to punch that milk dud Ordway in the face? A classic case of Ordway kicking a dog when he's down so he can generate some publicity for his third rate show. Hearing the replay on TV was actually the first time that I've heard Ordway's voice since 98.5 went to a sports radio format and salvaged the airwaves for afternoon commuters. WEEI should half his ridiculous salary once again.
Bobby, we hardly knew ya'!
I don't blame Valentine for saying what he said. All season they have been undermining him and writing articles and making comments about a casreer baseball guy while sitting in front of a computer or on talk radio for ratings. If any of us were in Bobby V's shoes we would feel the same disgust and anger that he feels. 99% of the radio sports talk guys are moron. Just listen to them for thirty minutes and you will know it is mindless chatter. The Red Sox want John Farrell of the last place Blue Jays, good luck with that Boston media?
I get it, it's all Valentine's fault, yeah, that's the ticket....
Glenn Ordway is a know-it-all who loves to hear himself talk, often interupting and shouting over others. He's rude and probabaly deserves a punch in the mouth for baiting, setting Bobby V. up with that inane question.
Mr. Abraham....I'm sorry, I'd react the same way as Bobby V if asked similar idiotic questions. I think the root issue here is you and the rest of the Boston sports media are looking to create news where there is no news. You don't know what to do with yourselves when the Red Sox aren't performing as expected. I'm not a big Bobby V supporter but the Red Sox performance this season has little to do with him...Move on Mr. Abraham, find something of value to report on.......
