“Flutie Magic” was on display, once again, in Natick on Friday night.
A week after throwing four touchdown passes in a rout of Brookline, quarterback Troy Flutie found sophomore wide receiver Brian Dunlap for a 5-yard touchdown with less than 10 seconds to go, lifting the No. 9-ranked Red Hawks to a 14-10 win over Norwood.
Down 10-0 in the third quarter, Flutie also rushed for a 15-yard touchdown that brought the Red Hawks (2-0) to within 10-7.
Last week, Flutie and Dunlap hooked up six times, including for a touchdown, in a 47-6 rout. With Friday night’s TD, the two have connected for 16 touchdowns in just more than a season.

Flutie rushed for 124 yards on 10 carries and has 199 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the season.
The Red Hawks travel to Milton next week. to face the Bay State League rival Wildcats (0-2).
Everett 33, Springfield Central 14— Senior Gilly DeSouza, again filling in at quarterback, continued to impress in his new role, throwing four touchdown passes for No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide. Senior Jalen Felix hauled in one of the those passes for a 57-yard score and rushed for another touchdown.
Andover 43, Gloucester 7 — CJ Scarpa connected with Will Heikkinen 11 times for 204 yards, including a 76-yard TD, in the Golden Warriors’ win.
Pembroke 26, Boston Latin 12 — Pembroke senior running back Colin Clafin rushed for 110 yards and two TDs.
Ashland 20, West Roxbury 12 — David Morrison tossed three touchdown passes, two to senior David Lynch and one to Joe Byrnes.
Lynnfield 31, Amesbury 27 — Kyle McGah rushed for four touchdowns, including the final three scores of the game, to lead the Pioneers.
Saugus 31, Manchester Essex 12 — C.J. Randolph rushed for three touchdowns and the Sachems scored 31 straight points in between Hornets’ two scores to post the easy win.
Wilmington 33, Waltham 27 — Justin MacKinnon rushed for 291 yards and three touchdowns for the Wildcats.
Revere 32, Georgetown 12 — Tom Portrait rushed for a pair of touchdowns as the Patriots ran for 236 yards.
Blue Hills 32, Nantucket 14 — Vincent Burton racked up 264 yards rushing and three scores for the visiting Warriors.
Bishop Feehan 21, Apponequet 0 — The Shamrocks’ Matt Allen rushed for two touchdowns and kicked three PATs.
Westford 13, Catholic Memorial 0 — Justin Mount rushed for 193 yards and a touchdown and Alex Antes recorded 17 tackles as the Grey Ghosts evened their record at 1-1.
Lincoln-Sudbury 21, Malden Catholic 0 — Henry Guild rushed for two touchdowns, including a 55-yarder, and Chris Giorgio returned an interception 52 yards for another score to lead the Warriors.
Bedford 35, Belmont 29 — Junior Olan Abner ran for 166 yards on 28 carries and three touchdowns to boost the Buccaneers. Brian Coutts rushed for a touchdown and threw for a pair for the Marauders.
Westwood 42, Dedham 2 — The Berluti brothers put on quite a show for the Wolverines. Alex threw four TD passes, two to his brother Bo, and both also rushed for a score in a rout of the Marauders.
Woburn 9, Billerica 0 — Marvin Jean’s 14-yard TD run in the fourth quarter sealed the win for the Tanners, who also got a second-quarter safety in their win over the Indians.
King Philip 40, Medfield 8 — Joe Johnston rushed for four touchdowns, all of at least 20 yards, in the Warriors’ victory.
East Bridgewater 34, Hanover 14 — Kevin Lynch ran for one TD, returned an interception for another score, and kicked a field goal to boost the Vikings.
Canton 21, Quincy 12 — Dexter Green ran for three TDs to power the Bulldogs’ points.
Franklin 31, Arlington Catholic 6 — Nick Zucco rushed for a pair of touchdowns as the Panthers scored 24 points in the fourth quarter.
Newton North 23, Milton 10 — Jack Boucher threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in the Tigers’ victory.
North Andover 33, Lawrence 12 — Bubba Shkliew scored all four touchdowns for the Scarlet Knights, two on receptions, one on a run, and the fourth on a 77-yard kickoff return.
Barnstable 55, Dennis-Yarmouth 14 — Nick Peabody was 14 of 19 for 340 yards and threw four TD passes in the Red Raiders’ romp. Dylan Morris caught five passes for 200 yards and two TDs, including a 98-yarder in the first quarter.
Marblehead 21, St. Mary’s 20 — Brooks Tyrrell’s 20-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the difference, as the Headers improved to 2-0.
Stoneham 42, Austin Prep 0 — Quarterback Andrew Cann connected with Dillion Owens three times as the Spartans shut out the Cougars.

Boston English and Charlestown forfeited their games Friday because they did not have enough eligible players under the state’s new concussion policy. Brighton (vs. English) and Burke (vs. Charlestown) were credited with victories. Many city league squads are struggling to field teams because of delays in returning the “Pre-Participation Head Injury/Concussion Report Form” for extracurricular activities.
