We are positively gobsmacked in the wake of Sunday’s Patriots loss.
It could get worse for New England football fans. If the Patriots lose again Sunday night in Baltimore, they will be a sub-.500 team for the first time in 10 years. The last time the Patriots had more losses than wins was in October of 2002, when the defending Super Bowl champions fell to 3-4 on their way to a 9-7 non-playoff season.

Dan's quotation of Kevin Garnett reminded me of something once attritubted to Michael Ray Richardson. Richardson was playing for the NY Knicks, whose season, as so many others have for the past generation, was going into the toilet. Someone asked him about that, and Richardson replied, "The ship be sinking." And then he was asked, how far can the ship sink? And Richardson famously replied, "The sky be the limit."
Poor Dan, another baseball first Patriot and Bob Kraft hater trying to equate the Patriots'ONE LOSS with a season full of absolute incompetance by that joke of a team on Yawkey Way. Not everyone, just you, Dennis and Callahan, and Jackie McMullen believe the Pats are trying to make an example of Welker. HERE ARE SOME OF THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT BELEieVE THEY ARE MAKING AN EXAMPLE OF WELKER
Your own real football reporter Greg Bedarad, your buddy at CSNNE, Mike Felger, Chris Price at WEEI, Tom Curran at CSNNE, Steve DeOssie at WEEI, MIKE LOMBARI OF THE NFL NETWORK, I COULD GO ON......and, Dan, Bill has always been willing to lose a few games to teach a player a lesson, that's why he has 5 superbowl appearences and the best 10 year record in football, but then Dan you surely know more about the Patriots, traveling to Foxboro every day, (what a joke) to talk to the players and coaches and experts around the league before you make such ridiculous statements, or is it just waiting for an opening, no matter how small, to write something negative about the Pats. I hope you can do better next time , but I'm afraid it could get worse.
Keep up the good work Dano. This is you at your best. Thanks for the update on the Cooler as well!
