ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — As reported on Sunday, Red Sox bench coach Tim Bogar will interview for the Houston Astros managerial job.

Bogar will interview on Wednesday. Not known yet if Bogar is heading to Houston or whether the Houston brass will meet with him in Florida, where the Red Sox are playing the Rays.

The Astros have already interviewed Tampa Bay bench coach Dave Martinez and former Phillies manager Larry Bowa.

The Astros have a substantial list which also includes former Red Sox bench coach DeMarlo Hale, now the third base coach with the Baltimore Orioles.
