For Red Sox fans, moments of satisfaction in this first losing season in 15 years came around at roughly the same rate as a quality start from the starting rotation.
Sure, there were some fun subplots and sidebars — the instant success of top prospect Will Middlebrooks, prolonged hot stretches from roster afterthoughts Pedro Ciriaco and Daniel Nava, friendly Cody Ross’s perfect fit at Fenway.

"TC" is the ultimate in boredom. Great, good, or bad season for the sox, I can never watch pre and post game shows because of his lack of personality, lack of conversational skills as he always sounds like he's reading off a telepromter. Never smiles, almost robotic. Take a lesson from Eck, THAT'S how to communicate Tom. One on one, not like a circus barker with a high pitched winy voice. Chad, love 99% of your material, did you really have to write this?
My sympathy for Orsillo and Remy. No other broadcasters that I've seen, have to deliver an almost constant stream of ad plugs during the game - even between pitches. Not to mention the usual suspects of broadcast booth guests plugging some organization unrelated to the game.
A Mel Allen, Vin Scully, Red Barbour, or Ken Coleman would have told NESN that they were professional
broadcasters and not shills for advertisers.
