"The Sox hope that it (the search) begins & ends with Farrell".........If Larry & the boys go into this "search" with their mind made up, they are being LAZY and ignoring a number of potentially good candidates for the job........What's the rush?.......the playoffs haven’t even started yet. PLUS.....this type of 'Man-Love' being shown by Sox management for Mr. Farrell puts them in a horrible negotiating position when the Blue Jays begin discussing compensation. When did this management group become SO inept??

Just don't give away any future all stars (or starters with potential to have an ERA under 5.00) for Farrell. Remember those minor league nothings the Sox once handed away like party favors: Curt Schilling, Jeff Bagwell, Brady Anderson, ...
