Boston College knew exactly what to expect from Army, and still couldn’t stop it. Between Trent Steelman (19 carries, 141 yards), Raymond Maples (32 carries, 175 yards), and Larry Dixon (12 carries, 128 yards, and two touchdowns), the Eagles had to guess who would end up with the ball on almost every play. On third and 1 from the BC 29, with a chance to sew up their first road win of the season, the Eagles guessed wrong. Steelman kept it himself and sliced through the defense for the touchdown that gave Army its first win of the season, 34-31 Saturday afternoon.
