The Falcons and Texans are battling for the right to be called the league’s last unbeaten team, which recently has been a double-edged honor. Since 2000, all 12 “last unbeatens” went on to make the playoffs and half of them reached the Super Bowl, but only one, the 2006 Colts, ended their season with a championship.
