Boys’ soccer players of the week

Lee Jacobs, Reading – The senior keeper shut out league opponents Woburn (1-0), Stoneham (2-0), and Wakefield (1-0), helping the Rockets improve to 7-3-1. Jacobs has five clean sheets on the season.

Yabesi Musema, Lynn Classical – Scored a hat trick to propel the Rams to a 4-1 win over Swampscott on Tuesday. Musema has seven goals on the season.

Felix De Bona, Somerville – After being granted a waiver to play out his senior season with the Highlanders, De Bona wasted no time in showing his value as he notched a hat trick in his first game, a 6-3 win over Brockton.

Sadraque Ferreaz, Randolph – Broke the record for most goals by a Blue Devils freshman when he scored his 13th and 14th goals of the season in an 8-5 win over Holbrook.

Matt Edwards, Wayland – The senior keeper strung together three straight shutouts, including draws againstDual County League rivals Acton-Boxborough and Bedford.
